Track the Farms own Monarch Petey as he migrates towards Mexico. Monarch Conservation Specialist Alice Ely carefully placed a radio tag on Petey so all can track his journey. Our Fantastic Farmhands class had the opportunity to release him with Alice.

This is only the second year this technology has existed, and it providing lots of insights into the incredible feat that monarch butterflies accomplish, flying as many as 2000 miles to reach their wintering ground, high in the mountains of Mexico.
