Flavors of the Fall: A Culinary Workshop Series for Grades 3-7, Wednesdays

Celebrate the crisp autumn season by cooking scratch-made comfort foods from the Farm’s late harvest. In this after-school Wednesday series, Young chefs will knead, chop, and bake wholesome ingredients, mastering essential kitchen skills and culinary independence in an engaging, hands-on environment. Nurture a lifelong love of real, clean food with delicious seasonal recipes designed for young culinary explorers!

Session 1 Fall Recipes include Harvest Apple & Cinnamon Oat Muffins featuring freshly picked WTF apples and a crunchy streusel topping, Mini Turkey & Autumn Veggie Pot Pies baked in individual ramekins with a flaky pastry crust and Build-Your-Own flatbreads topped with roasted butternut squash, thinly sliced pears, and melty fontina.

Session 2 Session 2 recipes will move into more comforting winter offerings. We welcome the holidays with our cozy cooking session. Weekly meals include: Thanksgiving-inspired favorites, warming soups, homemade pies, and delectable traditional baked goods reminiscent of Christmas and Hannukkah.

Chef Bio: Culinary instructor Chef Robyn empowers kids to build confidence and creativity through cooking. In her engaging, hands-on classes, young chefs learn fundamental safety, essential kitchen skills, and how to whip up healthy, delicious meals from scratch.
